CHARACTER INFORMATION

NAME: Peter Parker
CANON: Spider-Man (MCU)
CANON REFERENCE: wiki link!
CANON POINT: Post-No Way Home
CRAU HISTORY: n/a
AGE: 17
APPEARANCE: full body in one of his spidey suits and some casual wear

Peter's your average height (about 5'8") teenage boy who's looks kind of blend in with the crowd. He doesn't particularly stand out, with brown hair and outfits typical of a boy his age (i.e. hoodies, button up shirts, and t-shirts with some jeans). The only thing one would find to be spectacular about him physically would be his musculature — being a super hero, he's kind of jacked. It's not enough to show through his clothing, though, so it's generally difficult to tell.

CONTRACT PAYMENT: His loved ones remembering he exists. Without all the multiverse consequences and stuff. Just. Simply the people who matter to him remembering he's a part of their lives.

QUESTIONNAIRE:
Q: What does family mean to you and who do you consider a part of your family?
A: Family means quite a lot to Peter, and isn't just limited to those related to him by blood. His parents died when he was young, and his Uncle Ben died somewhat recently in the past, so he's faced some hardship when it comes to family. He's a loving and loyal person and does whatever in his power to protect those closest to him, especially his (recently deceased) Aunt May. Family is important and someone he stands beside and constantly has the best interests of on his mind. It's also someone he can go to for guidance and trust with his life. He found a familial connection to Tony Stark, and looked up to him immensely as a father figure who guided and protected him. In return, he wanted to do everything he could as well. He makes a lot of mistakes and goes against peoples' wishes a lot, but he craves parental figures in his life and feels good when he's around them. Happy would be another example of this, in how Peter goes to him when he needs help and speaks to him on a personal level.

Q: What is your favorite diversion? Hobbies, indulgences, vices? Would you put off important things for that diversion, or would you be more strict about how you spend your time and/or money?
A: Peter loves hanging out with his friends and family, relaxing and enjoying his time with them in any way possible. That's probably his most enjoyed way to spend his free time, as he's a bit of a social young man who really enjoys talking and being around people he likes. He also likes intellectual exercises — such as participating in the decathlon and doing science or engineering experiments to better his Spider-Man gig. Finally, he's also a huge fan of movies, and tends to reference them a lot, especially when drawing ideas for strategies. However, he never puts these things over his duties. Sometimes, he'd like to, but he takes his heavy responsibility as Spider-Man seriously and puts it above all else. He's a responsible kid who generally uses his time well and tries to keep his priorities straight while going about choosing what to do.

Q: Your Faction leader, not just your boss but the leader, has asked you to carry out a hit. The target is a non-affiliated public leader, well-liked by the people of the city. Do you carry it out? Why or why not?
A: Peter Parker is not a murderer nor does he take killing lightly. It's one thing when it's a psychotic alien army hellbent on destroying the universe, but a public leader that his faction leader doesn't like? He's not just going to carry out a hit on them without any thought. He'd much prefer to, if they're a bad person, find a way for justice to be served without death having to occur. He'll take whatever consequences this entails for himself and find his own way to do the job, quietly trying to skirt around it. He has a history of trying to bring "bad guys" to justice but actively avoiding letting them get killed.

Q: What is the most frightening thing you've ever done? What part of you did it test the most?
A: While fighting an alien army, or any of the other myriad villains he's dealt with, has been unmistakably scary, the scariest thing he's had to deal with would be the decision to erase himself from everyone's memories, effectively leaving him completely alone. It hurts him more than anything to lose those he loves, but to keep them safe makes it a price worth paying. He'd do anything to keep them healthy and happy, and if that means self sacrifice, then so be it. Still, for him, it's terrifying. He relies on his friends — on venting to them and enjoying his life with them. Having no one to talk to about personal matters is difficult and the ache in his heart from losing his connection with them is immense. The moments before the memory wipe occurred were terrifying, and just the act of steeling himself to tell Dr. Strange what he wanted to do was terrifying in itself. But he did it, for the greater good, testing his emotional strength in the process (his ability to sacrifice his own personal happiness for the happiness of others). It'll continue to be a test for him for as long as it takes for his heart to heal — if that ever truly even happens.

POWERS & ABILITIES: Peter has a variety of abilities thanks to his spider bite, that essentially scale up most facets of his physiological self. These include:
→Super strength: He's significantly stronger than a normal person, able to do drastic things like lift cement building rubble up and hold on to his webs to hold heavy things (such as large boats or buildings) together.
→Durability and healing: He can survive much harder hits (and even explosions or drops from stories high) than any normal human ever could. Also, thanks to his increased metabolism, he heals significantly faster than normal as well, able to heal up cuts and bruises and even broken bones within hours to a day.
→Speed and agility: The boy's quick and agile, as it clear from the way he can flip and swing with ease through the air with his webs, do standing backflips, run amongst cars, and catch things quickly and easily.
→Enhanced senses: His senses are always "dialed up to 11", meaning that he experiences his senses in a much more heightened state than others. He can hear and see very clearly, and his goggles on his spidey suit are said to help him concentrate thanks to how distracting his senses can be when he really needs to be paying attention (he's become used to them, though).
→Spider Sense: One of Peter's most iconic abilities, he can sense when danger is about to occur or when something's about to hurt him or others. It's like a reflex for him to deal with his surroundings with seemingly little need to pay attention at times thanks to his uncanny awareness of everything (it helps with his web slinging as well). This doesn't mean he's totally incapable of being distracted, however.
→Wall Crawling: He has sticky hands (and feet) and can will himself to stick to things in order to crawl or just hold on.

In regards to nerfing his abilities, I was thinking he could have maybe 5-10% of as much as they work. His senses are mostly normal, he can lift a liiittle more than a normal teen as well as run somewhat fast (he's definitely jacked regardless of his abilities anyway, but the ability to hold up buildings or run after cars would not work in Jigokucho at all — more like he'd be able to lift up a heavier table by himself or run a decent time for a mile). He would have the ability to kind of sense a general danger but nailing it down (i.e. being able to catch something before it hits him) would be impossible. His healing and durability would be much like a normal person's, just maybe able to take more of a punch than others and bounce back a little faster. And finally, his wall crawling would be effectively non-existent — he could get his fingers to have that weird feeling when you put some glue stick between your fingers and then stick them together before pulling them apart, but it wouldn't be enough to suspend him on walls or ceilings. If there are any further tweaks the mods believe should be made to his powers, I'm perfectly happy to comply!

→General abilities unrelated to super powers: Peter's a smart kid, being a part of the academic decathlon team and excelling in sciences and engineering. He even creates his own web fluid, which was praised by Tony Stark for its durability. He's naturally pretty good at fighting as well, since the ability to figure out how to fight isn't something that came with the spider powers. And finally, he knows a lot about movies, which strangely helps him lead others and figure out plans that people wouldn't normally think of (plans which he's seen in movies).

SUITABILITY: Peter is from a canon that consistently deals with violence and crime. He's no stranger to getting his ass kicked and kicking others in return, and he actively fights all sorts of crime from petty thieves to world-ending villains. Dealing with more of it wouldn't throw him for much of a loop. Being in his late teens, he's also perfectly aware of drugs and sex, though he isn't the type to engage in either, being as usually well-behaved as he is. Still, it's not like he can't deal with these things going on around him. He'd just be his awkward self and steer clear.

FACTION SUITABILITY:
Shuten: Peter definitely fits in with the whole fighting and responsibility to the community thing. His whole life is being responsible for 'the little guy' and fighting for them. Despite his power debuff here, he's still relatively strong and knows his way around a fight, so he'd be useful in that sense. He'd certainly have issues with the lying part, however, considering the whole secret identity thing. He'd have an interesting time navigating that for when he needs to go above what a normal person could do (i.e. using his web shooters).

Tamamo: Peter would have an interesting relationship here. He's a very smart kid and would be useful on that end, figuring out plans and tactics that help them further their goals, and he has no qualms about the idea of making sure the people are happy and relaxed. However, he has problems with the whole use your strength for your own freedom thing, as he uses his exclusively to help others.

Sutoku: Peter's kind of used to being a part of a ragtag group outside of the usual realm of control. He's also the type of goody-goody who could make connections with others through his good deeds. He had some Huge connections back in his world (though they no longer know his true identity, at least they know Spider-Man) that could come in handy if they ever arrive. But he's not a fan of the whole ruining people's reputations and knowing everything about them thing. Here's hoping they don't know about his skeletons!

Enma: Peter is a great helper in any way that he can, and he'd do well as a peace keeper for them — in a morally right way. He loves helping, but he would certainly cause trouble if he were forced to 'help' in any sort of underhanded way. Use him well, though, and he's a great and tenacious asset. He'll do just about anything if it means there'll be a net positive for people.
